Dakshini℠ is an Odia-first Conversational AI Agent developed by Presear Softwares using the DeepQuery Intelligence Engine. It is designed to remove language barriers and make digital services accessible to every user, regardless of their comfort with English. While Odia remains its primary linguistic focus, Dakshini℠ can also understand and converse in more than 75 international and Indian languages, making it suitable for government, enterprise, and citizen-facing applications.
The system addresses a long-standing gap: the lack of reliable, high-quality AI systems for linguistically complex regional languages like Odia. Existing large language models often fail to understand Odia grammar, phonetics, informal speech patterns, and mixed-language usage. To overcome these challenges, the DeepQuery research team curated a large Odia dataset from scratch, combining formal text with real conversational patterns. The model was further enhanced using proprietary adapters, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and custom pipelines to achieve natural fluency and factual accuracy.
Dakshini℠ delivers real-time conversational assistance across platforms such as WhatsApp, websites, enterprise software, and service portals. It can automate citizen support, respond to government queries, assist businesses, and serve as a multilingual digital assistant. With an accuracy of 89–93% in Odia and strong performance across other supported languages, it offers organizations a dependable and scalable AI solution.
